Life Like #108
Released in an edition of 15 zines and accompanying C-12 cassettes.
Part of a zine release show at Today Clothing in Ann Arbor, ACID REFLUX was a collaborative cut-up zine by Emily Roll & Fred Thomas, made in a flurry of excitement around the show and their other zines they'd spent more time putting together. Bonus tracks, if you will. Just a few copies were made for the show and this tape/zine combo furthers that same ripped-up energy.
The zine is raw and caustic poetry, prose, collage and fragment cut-ups in a classic black and white punk zine style. The audio on the tapes comes from performances at the show; screwed down samples, looping flutes and delayed readings from the zines. Strange young feelings, folded and forgotten.
