Released by the esteemed and eternal K Records in 2011, this was the second LP from City Center, the perpetually lost and constantly searching experimental pop duo of myself and Ryan Howard. Redeemer was easily the strongest and most complete statement this band ever made, and it encapsulates a time of struggling against bleak life circumstances through creativity and self-discovery. This band worked relentlessly, toured all the time, and still failed to really connect with even some of our close friends. But if City Center did connect for you, it was probably with these hard-fought songs.
